Name: Ed Davis

Company: Petrinovich Pugh & Company

Ed is a Partner with Petrinovich Pugh & Company LLP (PP&Co.), a mid-sized local CPA firm based in San Jose, CA, providing accounting tax and consulting services. He started with PP&Co. as a tax intern during his last year at San Jose State University in 1985 and has been with the Firm since his graduation from SJSU that year.

Ed has lived in San Jose since he was 5 years old, relocating to Morgan Hill in 1995 as he and Jill, his wife, started their family. Raising their 2 boys in Morgan Hill, they quickly became part of the community and spent many hours volunteering in various capacities at the boys‚Äô schools from fundraising event chairs to volunteer coordinators and everywhere in between.

An advocate for after school programming and children‚Äôs initiatives in general, Ed was on the Board of Directors of After-School All Stars from 2001-2014, serving as Chairman from 2010-2012. Active with SJSU, he was on the Business School Alumni Board and has been on the Thomas Cowan Bell Scholastic Foundation Board from 1994 to current.  He was on the Bellarmine College Preparatory Dad‚Äôs Club Board for 5 years, serving as its President in the 2013-14 school year.  He is still a member of the Audit and Development Committees at Bellarmine and participates in annual Fundraising events benefitting Bellarmine and Presentation High School financial aid programs.

In his professional life he served on the North America and World Boards of Prime Global, an association of independent accounting firms from 2004-2014.  This afforded him the opportunity to travel to extensively to foreign countries while building business relationships with CPA Firms and their members in these countries.

Ed firmly believes in the concept of community and the ‚Äúit take a village‚Äù concept.  After focusing on relationships, both business and personal, in far off lands, he would like to refocus on the local community.  A firm believer in being an active participant, Ed always strives to make an organization or community better off for having had him as a member.  He believes Leadership San Jose can give him the exposure and insight to San Jose, so he can have greater impact.

Ed enjoys golf, wine, traveling and the San Jose Sharks!

COVID-19 Nonprofit Resources
Wondering how you can help during this time? Social distancing doesn't mean social isolation. We still need to support the nonprofits in our region who are continuing to provide critical services to the people of our community day and night—ensuring our most vulnerable populations are being housed, fed and cared for. However, they could really use our help in a number of ways: donating extra supplies, offering your time as a volunteer or through any generous donations in order to sustain themselves.
