He is the third-generation leader of his business and follows in his father’s footsteps as President and CEO.

He grew up in the business starting at a very young age. He vividly recalls the first piece of Caterpillar equipment his father purchased—a 426 backhoe in 1985!

In his early years, he spent a considerable amount of time in the shop. To this day, he still maintains his commercial license and can often be seen joyriding a concrete pump.

We are proud to give the Businessman of the Year to Kevin Albanese, President and CEO of JJ Albanese.

JJ Albanese is a strong believer in supporting industry and community organizations. As part of JJA’s leadership team, Kevin is very involved in serving the construction industry in Northern California and was appointed by Governor Brown to the Contractor’s State License Board from 2013 -2017

He also has been recognized for his leadership and contributions to the industry and the community, including being recognized as a top 40 under 40 by the Silicon Valley Business Journal and top 20 under 40 by the Engineering News Record.

We are happy to award our 2018 Businessman of the Year to, Kevin Albanese.

COVID-19 Nonprofit Resources
Wondering how you can help during this time? Social distancing doesn't mean social isolation. We still need to support the nonprofits in our region who are continuing to provide critical services to the people of our community day and night—ensuring our most vulnerable populations are being housed, fed and cared for. However, they could really use our help in a number of ways: donating extra supplies, offering your time as a volunteer or through any generous donations in order to sustain themselves.
