Christina is a life-long learner and educator who strives to foster leadership in individuals and connections between organizations to benefit underserved communities. She has witnessed the power of positive change on all levels as a teacher in Evergreen School District Title I schools, a Reading Partners tutor and over 15 years of managing STEM education programs for NASA, Stanford University, Ignited and The Tech Museum of Innovation. She is excited to join Leadership San Jose’s 2018 cohort to garner new perspectives and connections to make sustainable change in our community.

As Senior Director of Educational Partnerships at The Tech Museum of Innovation, Christina currently oversees The Tech Academies and STEM Pathways programs, building a network of model STEM-focused schools, Engineering Education Leaders and cohesive K-career pathways of high-quality STEM opportunities with 10 school districts in San Jose and South Santa Clara County focused on our neediest communities.

Christina also supports numerous non-profits including Catholic Charities, Sunnyvale Community Services and Resounding Achord—a service-minded community choir that actively serves young musicians through honor choir scholarships. Christina earned her BA in International Studies from University of Oregon and her MA in Instructional Technology from San Jose State University. Christina and her husband also enjoy hiking, watching curling and laughing.

As of June 5th, San Jose Al Fresco is in full swing allowing businesses to utilize sidewalks to conduct business during shelter-in-place. The City of San Jose is now accepting applications, and it's FREE to apply! Once your application is submitted, you will be able to start utilizing the space in front of your business immediately, as long as you meet the terms and conditions described in the application. Southwest Launches Sale, Extends Open Middle Seat, And Adds Health Declaration For Customers
Southwest announced their plans to keep middle seats open through at least September 30, reinforced its face mask policy and added another layer of confidence for travelers by requiring Customers to complete a Health Declaration prior to traveling. As Customers begin to travel again, Southwest also launched a sale offering low domestic fares starting at $49 one-way to select destinations today through June 18, 2020, 11:59 p.m., CDT.
