For the past 7 years Bruce has served as the general manager of the Silicon Valley Capital Club in downtown San Jose. During the period the club successfully increased revenues by 50% and membership by 400 members.

Prior to his position with the club, Bruce’s experience includes operations management positions with several convention hotels, convention centers, arenas, race tracks, and theatres throughout the United States.

Locally, Bruce is on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of San Jose, where he also served as the chair of the Membership Committee. He is also on the Board of Directors of The Silicon Valley Organization and on the Foundation Board of the same organization.

Bruce and his wife live in Morgan Hill, while their daughter serves abroad in the US Navy and son is in apprenticeship training as an electrician in San Diego.

The SVO Foundation is The SVO's line of business, specifically focused on making a local impact in the areas of education, workforce development, civic entrepreneurship, leadership, volunteerism and philanthropy. It accomplishes this through its Strive San Jose initiative and Leadership San Jose program.

We still need to support the nonprofits in our region who are continuing to provide critical services to the people of our community day and night—ensuring our most vulnerable populations are being housed, fed and cared for. However, they could really use our help in a number of ways: donating extra supplies, offering your time as a volunteer or through any generous donations in order to sustain themselves.
