Janikke Klem is the Vice President of Community and Government Relations with Technology Credit Union. She is responsible for developing Tech CU‚Äôs Community Relations and Investment program and serves as the company‚Äôs government relations‚Äô liaison. She leads Tech CU‚Äôs efforts to create opportunity for all through economic empowerment.  The company and employees achieve this by helping individuals and community organizations build assets to achieve their full potential.

Prior to Tech CU, Janikke was at San Jose State University (SJSU) where she served as Director of Alumni Engagement and Director of Development. She has extensive experience in public affairs, community outreach and fund development — with a focus on building community awareness, increasing philanthropic involvement, public/private collaboration and developing engagement opportunities.

Her other community involvement includes serving on the boards of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation, SJSU Alumni Association, SVO Foundation, Leadership San Jose Advisory Council, Chair of the SVLG Education Committee, and parent volunteer at San Jose Parents Participating Preschool. She is a Senior Fellow with American Leadership Forum, a member of SPUR (San Francisco Planning and Urban Renewal Association), Bay Area Council, Full Circle Fund, and a former Salzburg Fellow.

Klem is a SJSU alum and holds a Masters in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco.

The SVO Foundation is The SVO's line of business, specifically focused on making a local impact in the areas of education, workforce development, civic entrepreneurship, leadership, volunteerism and philanthropy. It accomplishes this through its Strive San Jose initiative and Leadership San Jose program.

Southwest Launches Sale, Extends Open Middle Seat, And Adds Health Declaration For Customers
