She wants more people to realize their potential as leaders and to create more opportunities for diverse voices in our democracy.

She enjoys weekend adventures with her husband Carlos and adorable dog Rufio. (Yes, from Hook. Roof-ee-oooooooh!) She also runs a Facebook group encouraging more diverse representation of women in media called Savvy Women Movie Club which also serves as a handy excuse to talk pop culture and watch movies with awesome people. She also throws a rad Galentine’s Party every year where folks put a little more love in the world by making and mailing cards to friends.
