SACRAMENTO — Today Assemblymember Evan Low (D-Silicon Valley) honored Leeward Financial and Insurance Services as a part of California Small Business Day 2018.

Owner Kevin McClelland and his wife Cristina traveled to Sacramento to receive recognition as the Assembly District 28 Small Business of the Year. 72 other small businesses from across the State of California were also honored during the luncheon ceremony convened by the California Small Business Association.

“I am proud to recognize Leeward Financial and Kevin McClelland for his outstanding work helping small business to grow and thrive,” said Assemblymember Low. “Small businesses contribute to the vibrancy of our community and our downtown neighborhoods.”

Leeward Financial & Insurance Services is a fee based financial advice firm located in Cupertino that specializes in financial independence, wealth management, real estate investments, and business consulting.

Kevin McClelland volunteers his time to help small business owners and minority business owners start and grow their businesses in Santa Clara County. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce and The Silicon Valley Organization.
