Small Business Stakeholder Meeting on Commercial Eviction Moratorium

The City of San Jose is exploring an urgency ordinance to prohibit the eviction of small businesses during the COVID-19 crisis. City staff will provide an update on their draft policy proposal to implement a commercial eviction moratorium for small businesses at the April 7th City Council meeting. For Retailers: Social Distancing Protocols, Re-Opening Guides & Examples
CA is now in PHASE TWO of re-opening the economy which includes retail. Come Friday, May 22 Santa Clara County will allow retail businesses to open for curbside pick-up. The Santa Clara County amended order will also allow manufacturing, logistics, and warehouses supporting retail to reopen subject to social distancing protocols and related requirements.
