Candidate Cultivation Academy

This four month program prepares community leaders with knowledge about key public policy issues in Silicon Valley, while also teaching them successful strategies that win political campaigns. All the program participants will learn how to debate, improve public speaking skills,
craft an effective message, and learn about legislation that has major impacts in our city.

he SVO's Candidate Cultivation Academy (CCA) is a comprehensive, four-month training program for people who are interested in running for public office or engage deeply in public policy.

The SVO CCA is non-partisan and works in concert with The SVO's efforts to make Silicon Valley the best place to live, work, play, and run a business in by identifying and fostering the development of future candidates who are interested in helping to shape the future of San Jose and Silicon Valley.
