Construction Project Manager - Silicon Valley Demolition


  • Provide direction to the General Superintendent and Operations Director and give them required information for execution of duties
  • Be accountable and manage the successful execution of a portfolio of projects in accordance with the scope, schedule and budget from start to finish
  • Direct the activities of all operational staff and monitor the performance of subcontractors
  • Attend various start-up, progression and close-out in-house and client meetings as required
  • Work with the General Superintendent and Health & Safety department to develop and maintain safety and quality control plans and programs
  • Ensure all projects are designed with worker Health and Safety as the utmost priority
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local regulatory authorities
  • Ensure compliance with overall in-house and client Health and Safety Policy and Programs
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
  • In cooperation with the General Superintendent and Operations Director, plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules
  • In cooperation with the General Superintendent and Operations Director, plan and prepare project manpower requirements and monitor progress against established plan
  • Complete a cost/revenue projection for all projects and update/review with President at least monthly
  • Complete monthly progress billing for all projects and update/review with President, Accounting Department, and Operations Director
  • Review all progress invoices and ensure they are issued on a timely basis and follow up on any outstanding accounts
  • Oversee subcontracts and the purchase of material(s)
  • Ensure that all cost tracking is being completed correctly by the Field Team
  • Prepare weekly operating report and present to Management Team

Minimum of 2 years’ trade specific experience, with a minimum of 1 years as an Project Manager for Abatement, Demolition, and Earthwork projects.

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate complex problems and to plan and lead multidisciplinary teams to execute customized solutions
  • Knowledge of California regulations, standards, and guidelines related to environmental and demolition projects
  • Knowledge of the engineering design, tender, and construction management processes and related contractual conditions for a variety of demolition technologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Acrobat, Smartsheet, BlueBeam, Sage
  • Demonstrated willingness to be adaptable and flexible to changing and competing priorities
  • Familiarity with demolition methods and legislation

Beginning salary for this position is $70K. Salary will be DOE.
