SVO Member Bay 101 Celebrates Grand Opening

Bay 101 Casino has long been the premier locale for the very best in Silicon Valley gaming, food and fun. The new casino, to open within hours after the old casino closes, will offer a stunning new casino and restaurant design for its customers.  According to Ken Rodrigues, lead design architect on the new Bay 101 project, “The building has a contemporary asian design theme for the exterior and interior environment. The interior includes bright colors with glass and wood accents. Very unique lighting highlighting special areas of the casinos will also be incorporated.

The contemporary restaurant design includes large glass wall panels centered around a central bar along with a connecting exterior dining patio giving this space a true indoor-outdoor feel. The project has been conceived designed using ancient Feng Shui design principles offering Bay 101 customers a project not usually found in the bay area. 

With 49 high‐action tables, Bay 101 Casino guests can enjoy Pai Gow Poker, No Bust 21st Century BlackJack, Three Card Poker, Pai Gow Tiles,  EZ Baccarat, Texas Hold'em and Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Omaha.

This all-new San Jose hot spot offers 24‐hour table‐side dining, complimentary coffee station, safe deposit boxes, two full‐service cashier cages, free Wi‐Fi, cell phone charging stations, a gift shop, beauty salon, state‐of‐the‐art security and over 40 HD television screens. All of this, and more, at a most convenient location just off the 101 freeway, less than a mile from San Jose’s Mineta Airport.

The new Bay 101 will be located adjacent to a fabulous new restaurant, to be operated by successful local restaurateur Chris Yeo (Straits, Roots and Rye). “The Province” will dish out sophisticated continental Asian fusion cuisine, prepared with a passion to delight palates while uniting the flavors and spirit of the hometown of Chef Yeo.
