Sarah Reeves is the Director of Missile Defense Programs at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company in Sunnyvale, California.

Ms. Reeves leads an organization of over 500 employees in California, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Colorado, Utah and the United Kingdom. She is responsible for leveraging current programs, capabilities and technology investments to expand Lockheed Martin’s role in support of U.S. and international missile defense and strategic missile system customers.

Current Missile Defense Agency program responsibilities include engineering support for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) weapon system, Targets and Countermeasures, Advanced Interceptor Systems, Space Sensor applications, and Directed Energy systems.

Prior to this current role, Ms. Reeves was a leader for the program management team on Remote Sensing programs. As part of this role, she was responsible for the successful delivery and launch of the WorldView-4 Electro-Optical imaging satellite in November 2017. 

Ms. Reeves is an accomplished leader in the aerospace industry with over 20 years of experience on missile and satellite programs in a variety of engineering and program management roles, with ever increasingly responsibility.  She holds a B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science Engineering from Ohio State University and Stanford Universities, respectively.  In 2011, she earned an M.S. in Management from the Stanford Business School. 

Ms. Reeves has applied business operations experience in earned value management for evaluation of program cost and schedule performance and supply chain management. Her strengths include building high performing teams and integration of complex systems across multiple platforms.

Ms. Reeves was recognized for executive leadership with the 2013 Tribute to Women Honor by the Silicon Valley YWCA. She is married with three children and currently resides in Los Altos, California.
