Southwest Airlines Now Serving Tucson Nonstop from Silicon Valley’s Airport

San Jose, Calif. – Southwest Airlines® added another important destination to its growing list of cities available nonstop from Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) on Nov. 4, 2018, with an inaugural flight to Tucson. Book flights now at Southwest.com.

As part of Southwest’s continued expansion of service from Silicon Valley, the carrier is making it easier for those living and doing business in Southern Arizona to travel through convenient Tucson International Airport (TUS).

The route is offered daily and began operating in Southwest’s November flight schedule:

Southwest is SJC’s largest airline with 98 peak departures daily to these 26 cities: Albuquerque, Austin, Baltimore/Washington, Boise, Burbank, Cabo San Lucas, Chicago/Midway, Dallas/Love Field, Denver, El Paso (begins 1/13/19), Houston-Hobby, Las Vegas, Los Angeles/LAX, New Orleans (seasonal), Ontario, Orange County/Santa Ana, Orlando, Phoenix, Portland, Reno, Saint Louis, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle, Spokane and Tucson.

Southwest previously announced its intention to offer Hawaii service from Mineta San Jose International Airport with tickets expected to be sold in 2019.

Alaska Airlines also operates daily nonstop service to Tucson from SJC.
