An internship program created to close the current educational skills gap and provide high school students with paid summer internships.
Who is involved?
Strive San Jose, The City of San Jose, the Work2Future Foundation, East Side Union and San Jose Unified School Districts.
How is it free?
Mayor Sam Liccardo has appropriated funds to have Career Pathway students have a true work experience aligned to the curriculum and skills learned in the classroom and with your industry.
Are the students trained first?
Yes, all the students are pre-screened and receive soft skill training. The next step is matching them with an employer like you!
