Together, Strive San Jose, The City of San Jose, the Work2Future Foundation, East Side Union and San Jose Unified School Districts have come together to create a summer internship program. This internship program was created to close the current educational skills gap and provide high school students with paid summer internships.
These students receive personalized education in the career pathway of their choice and chances to work in these fields with professionals.
During the week of October 1-5, more than 600 East Side Union HS District Students will tour advanced manufacturing companies across the city, getting exposure to cutting-edge technology and learning about career opportunities in engineering, manufacturing, and design.
