In Silicon Valley, there is only one airport that serves as the direct connection to the rest of the state, country and world.

Mineta San Jose International Airport – Silicon Valley’s airport – is a vital economic driver for the region. And, much like the companies that call Silicon Valley home, it has become a disruptor of its industry, and, most recently has been growing to meet the demands of the clients it serves.

Last year marked its fifth consecutive year of solid passenger growth. SJC now serves 13 million departing and arriving passengers annually.

Since 2014, SJC has launched seven new airlines and 25 new or announced nonstop routes.

The SVO has been a proud supporter of SJC since its creation and has continued to be a champion because we see its value for Silicon Valley and its business community.

It was named one of the fastest growing airports in the country over the past two years for good reason.

Now, on the heels of $50 million in capital improvements completed, SJC is looking to its future with a potential interim expansion that will add four new gates to the growing airport and implement various state-of-the-art technologies that will make the traveling experience even more seamless.
