Effective today, January 25, 2021 Santa Clara County will return to the Purple Tier of the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy, with some additional local restrictions remaining in place.
Outdoor dining may resume, as well as personal care services and professional, collegiate, and adult and youth sports. The County’s mandatory travel quarantine remains in place, requiring a 10-day quarantine for most people who travel into the county from more than 150 miles away.
As always, businesses and individuals must follow both the State and County Health Officer orders, and where there is a conflict between the two, the stricter rules must be followed.

"Being a part of the SVO has been a great opportunity for Teen Success, Inc. We have been able to connect and partner with corporate organizations who are passionate about the mission and young families of Teen Success, Inc. Through BRN’s, events, and direct referrals from members and staff of the SVO, Teen Success, Inc. has grown the visibility of our nonprofit and found new partners in our work."
“Pascal Chiropractic has been a member of the SVO since March of 2018. It has been an amazing experience so far. Through the SVO, we have been able to meet many professionals that have helped propel our business to where it is today. The amount of exposure through networking events that the SVO puts on could not compete with anything else. The BRNs have been a great tool to create our network of professionals that we trust and partner with to better serve our community.”
"The SVO partnered with Google after learning about our approach and perspective, and was ultimately able to effectively provide advocacy support. The SVO advocated at various community and city meetings, gathered letters supporting Google’s presence in San Jose, and rallied support from San Jose-based small businesses and community organizations."
“The SVO has been an instrumental piece in helping me grow my business by giving my company the opportunity to network with other people in the community and making it easier to close the gap between us and other companies”
"Bowlero’s time with the SVO has really been a true partnership with the goal of making connections and bringing people together. They have always been flexible with us, listened to our ideas, and been really engaged with our growth as a company. We have been able to expand to a broader network of people through their events and advertising options in a way that is just not offered with other organizations. The biggest win for us in communicating updates we are making to our locations, letting the Bay Area know about exciting things happening with us, and ultimately driving more business our way. We have loved our time with SVO and will continue to invest in them as they have so thoughtfully invested in us over the years"
“The SVO and the SVO Foundation worked closely with us and the City of San Jose to help make a meaningful impact in the region. Through this effort, we’re proud to say that Alaska Airlines is now the top corporate partner for the SJ Works program, which connects young people in San Jose with internships that help build critical professional skills..”
Thank you to our community of 1,200 businesses and 300,000 employees throughout the greater Silicon Valley region.
